Info: Maimun Palace, or Istana Maimun, is a historic royal palace located in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Built between 1887 and 1891 by Sultan Ma'mun Al Rashid Perkasa Alamsyah, the ninth Sultan of Deli, the palace was designed by Dutch architect Theodoor van Erp. Spanning 2,772 square meters, it comprises 30 rooms and showcases a unique blend of Malay, Islamic, Indian, Spanish, and Italian architectural styles.
