Info: North Cascades National Park, located in northern Washington State, is a vast wilderness area encompassing over 500,000 acres of rugged mountains, dense forests, and more than 300 glaciers—the largest concentration in the contiguous United States. Established in 1968, the park is part of the North Cascades National Park Complex, which includes Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
